Getting in Shape for swimsuit season.

Ok, So my plan is that I will lose ten pounds a month for the next five months, until I go to the beach. I'm five foot six inches, and should weigh about 140 pounds, so I am going to lose the weight, somewhat quickly, but at my age it should be ok.

So my plan is that I am going to lose about two and a half pounds a week.  Yes, I know that is a little on the high side.  But ok I am going to lose this weight the healthy way.

1. Drinking plenty of water.  Ok, so I am going to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Your body holds on to excess water when you are dehydrated. So basically if your pee is yellow,  you are partially dehydrated. You need to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. This will help lose water weight and also lose fat.

So next, I'm going to add in some weight training. I'm going to go to the gym every day. My goal is to build muscle, which will in turn help me to get toned, and also help lose fat.

Next I'm going to be keeping a food log. Right after I eat, or as I'm eating, I'm going  to be righting it down so that I can look back at how much I'm eating, and what I'm eating. This makes a big difference, and also helps you to see why you are eating, Are you bored, or actually hungry.

Next, I will be cutting out sodas, and junk food. This is a big conribution to my body holding on to fat. I am addicted to root beer.  Wich if you read the label on the back of a root beer bottle, it contains a ton of sugar, and soooooooooooo much salt.

Moving on to the next topic, I will also be avoiding salt. Back to your body being dehydrated, salt dehydrates your body and causes it to hold on to excess water.

Last but not least. Trans fat. Oh my goodness, this is such a big deal.  We eat so much trans fat, in our every day diet, and don't even realize it. So basically any sortof oil or grease that stays solid at room temperature probably contains a lot of trans fat. Such a butter, shortening, ect.

Oh, and one last thing. I will be eating a healthy snack in between each meal, such as an apple, banaanna, cherrys, grapes, ect. Something healthy, sweet, tastes yummy, and keeps me heald over until my next meal. Keeps my matablism going, and keeps me from being so hungry that I pig out at my next meal.

So yeah, I will update on my fitness plan later, and let you guys know how it's going,

For right now, XOXO, Danielle.

Swim Suit Season

It's what every girl wants and dreads at the same time. It makes every girl want to join a gym. It's the most stressful season of the year, it's called swim suit season. You not only have to worry about finding the right bikini. You have to worry about finding the right belly ring and flipflops to match your swimsuit. A really cute beach bag, an amazingly cute pair of sunglasses, but then when you think you are finished preparing for that trip to the beach that you've been planning all year, you have to find the time to either go to the tanning bed, or lay out and get a tan. So to make it all easier for you guys, I'm going to post my top three pics for bikinis, and my top three fave belly rings. Also my secret tips to getting tan and slim for the beach!!!!!!!!!!!

I Think that the watermelon belly ring is so adorable with the polka dotted bikini. The Red in the swimsuit and the red in the water mellon go so good together. Nothing says summer like a cute swimsuit and a piece of watermelon.

So right now, I am loving Saphire. It's so beautiful, and goes so well with this black and white bikini. The colors would reflect so well in the sunlight. It's perfect for chilling on the beach. Just add a pair of cute flip flops, and you are good to go!!

Ok, the hot pink polka dotted and white bikini with ruffles is sooooooooooo cute. I love how well it looks with the silver dolphin heart shaped belly ring. They go so well together. A cute pair of flip flops. I toe ring or two, and you will be ready for a day on the beach.

Tanning Tips

No matter what tanning is going to take work, and/or money. You can't get that golden brown tan without at least one of the two.

1. Laying out the old fashioned way.  Yes, this is probably the cheapest way to get a tan. Laying out takes more work than other ways of tanning. You can just lay out without using any tanning lotion if you want, but depending on your skin type, this may not be the best idea. If you have fair skin, I recomend you atleast getting some sort of tanning lotion with spf in it. They make tanning lotions with no spf, or with a lot of spf. It all depends on what type of skin you have, if you have fair skin, then you should probably start out with some spf. the you could gradually decrease the amount of spf that you use.

2. The tanning bed. This way takes both money, and work. Tanning bed sessions are both risky, and expensive. If you are thinking about going to a tanning bed, I say to save your money, because it's not worth it.  Laying in the tanning bed is a bigtime risk for getting skin cancer. It dries your skin out. You can get burnt, and it ruins your hair. It can also turn you orange.

3. Self tanning lotions. This method of tanning takes money.  This is probably the best way to tan in my oppinion, it is a little pricy though. So basically you apply the self tanning lotion every day aftergetting out of the shower. I recomend getting a gradual self tanning lotion. It will look more realistic if you get your tan gradually, than just appearing tan the next day.

So yeah, those are my top swim suit, belly ring, and tanning pics. I hope you guys enjoyed it!!!!!!!!!!
